Transforming Netflix HQ London for the Stranger Things 5 Launch Party
At Nevill Group, we specialise in creating immersive branded environments using innovative large format print and bespoke installation solutions. One of our most exciting recent projects was transforming Netflix HQ in London for the highly anticipated Stranger Things 5 launch party.
The brief was to create a bold, cinematic environment inspired by the show’s iconic American diner aesthetic, while cleverly introducing elements of the mysterious Upside Down. Using removable materials throughout, we delivered a high-impact transformation without altering the original finishes of the space.
Large Format Removable Vinyl Wall Wraps
To completely change the look of the venue, we produced and installed large format removable vinyl graphics to wrap the existing tiled walls. These vinyls were precision-printed and expertly applied to ensure a seamless finish.
This solution allowed us to:
Instantly transform the environment
Protect the original tiled surfaces
Remove all graphics cleanly after the event
Removable vinyl wall wraps are ideal for temporary installations, brand activations, and launch events, offering maximum visual impact with minimal disruption.
Distressed American Diner Tables Using Printed Foamex
To reinforce the authentic Stranger Things diner look, we created custom printed foamex panels for the tables, featuring a distressed, vintage finish.
Printed foamex is a versatile and durable material that delivers:

Clean installation and removal
The distressed detailing added character and authenticity, helping to transport guests straight into the world of Hawkins.
Mirror Table Tops Revealing the “Upside Down”
One of the standout design features was the addition of custom-cut mirror panels, shaped precisely to match the table tops. These mirrors created a striking illusion, making each table appear like a window into the Upside Down.
This creative solution:
Added depth and reflection to the space
Enhanced lighting and visual impact
Directly referenced the show’s alternate dimension
It’s a great example of how bespoke fabrication can elevate experiential design.
Distressed Chequerboard Floor Graphics
To complete the transformation, we applied a distressed black chequerboard vinyl floor graphic over the original grey flooring. This instantly grounded the space in a classic American diner style and tied all visual elements together.

Slip-rated for safety
Fully removable post-event
The flooring played a key role in creating a fully immersive environment for the launch event.
